Kingsburg is home to West Ironbound, one of Nova Scotia’s most remarkable uninhabited islands. For decades, locals have explored the island along its coastal trail, experiencing the solitude, wildlife, and rugged character of this unique place.

Today, parts of that trail — along with the island's historic visitor cabin — desperately need restoration. The Kingsburg Coastal Conservancy is raising $25,000 to restore the trail, repair the cabin, and start an annual program to bring more visitors to the island.
